The Heavens sent a beautiful angel
Draped with invisible wings
A soul pleated with love, kindness, and everything so sweet
A heart carved of gold
She sprinkles her radiance on all that she lays her gaze upon
She teaches without trying, cares without expecting, and gives so effortlessly
Her resilient soul holds on tight, embraces the flaws, and smiles through the cold rains
And her smile… Oh how she smiles that smile that lights up my world
And how she always knows... sometimes a little too well and a little too much
When she hugs, I’m safely wrapped up, snuggled inside a warm dream
Draped with invisible wings
A soul pleated with love, kindness, and everything so sweet
A heart carved of gold
She sprinkles her radiance on all that she lays her gaze upon
She teaches without trying, cares without expecting, and gives so effortlessly
She forgives
She listens
She nurtures
And scolds, just enough When the mirrors mock, her comfort gently slips around my fingers, holds my hand, and walks me home quietly
She worries a dozen silly worries a day; she’ll hurt inside yet never falls apartHer resilient soul holds on tight, embraces the flaws, and smiles through the cold rains
And her smile… Oh how she smiles that smile that lights up my world
And how she always knows... sometimes a little too well and a little too much
When she hugs, I’m safely wrapped up, snuggled inside a warm dream
A giver, a healer, a friend, a sister, a miracle-worker
And above all… my super-mom =)

Love it! Visiting your blog after so long. Your mom looks SO young, and you look just like her. So lucky.
